What We Believe

  • We believe the Holy Scriptures are God's Word, divinely inspired, infallible, the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
  • We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)
  • We believe in the LORD Jesus Christ, His full divinity (John 10:33), His virgin birth (IWsaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34-35), His sinless humanity (Hebrews 4:15; 7:26), His atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9), His bodily resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4), His ascension - He is the mediator at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19), and His personal, imminent return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16).
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers to bear fruit for God (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:20, 5:18).
  • We believe there is salvation for sinners through the death and resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ by grace through faith, apart from works (John 5:28-29).
  • We believe all true believers are united in Christ and together comprise of the church, the Body of Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28).
  • We believe the church is commissioned by Christ to go into the world and make disciples of all nations (Mark 16:15).
  • We believe there will be resurrection and a final judgment. The lost will be eternally condemned and the saved will enter into their inheritance in the new heavens and new earth (John 3:16-19; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5)
